Getting Started

CODFlip (COD to Prepaid) turns Cash on Delivery orders into prepaid ones by sending customers a discounted, one-tap payment link over WhatsApp. Here's what happens once it's connected to your store, and the three things to set up before it starts working.

What happens on every COD order

Once CODFlip is connected to your store, it watches every new order. Any order placed as Cash on Delivery goes through the same sequence:

3The customer gets a WhatsApp message with the discount and a one-tap payment link
4The outcome is logged (sent, failed, or converted) so it shows up in your reports

There's also a faster path that happens right at checkout, before an order is even placed: customers who select COD see a banner offering the same kind of discount to pay online instead. Accept it, and checkout completes as prepaid on the spot — no WhatsApp message needed.

Both paths feed the same reports, so your Dashboard always shows the full picture regardless of which one converted the order.

Setting it up

  1. 1Connect a WhatsApp Business number.
  2. 2Choose a discount — a simple flat percentage or ₹ amount to start, or the Variable Discount on Pro.
  3. 3Turn it on. This starts messaging and processing new orders right away.

That's genuinely it — no code or developer needed. Everything stays editable afterwards under Features, so nothing here is a one-time decision, and turning it on only affects orders placed from that point forward (nothing already placed gets messaged retroactively).
